New England Preppy - OOTD

  It's been very cold up here today so I wore my new Vineyard Vines sweater dress with a pair of leggings and bean boots! I also wore my Barbour coat! I think this look resembles a classic New England preppy style and reminds me a little of the college prepster mixed with Sarah Vickers. Stay warm y'all. I'm jealous of those of you in the South getting all that snow!

Classy Girls…. Wear Pearls and Bows!

     I must say that I love hair bows and grew up wearing them but stopped when I got to middle school. Now, I'm a college student and wear them again! Bows are popular for teenagers and young adults now and that makes me so happy because I LOVE bows!

     For those of you who don't know me or follow my social media accounts…. Mondays this semester are French days. Yep! The one class I have on Monday is French and so when I woke up with my hair in a french braid this morning I decided I would keep my hair that way and not really dress french but more classic like I used to dress like more often when I was in Middle School and Upper School. When I say that, I mean button downs and cable knit sweaters paired with my favorite jewelry… pearls.
Sadly, I didn't think of wearing the new white bow my sister got me for Christmas until after class but hey, there is always another day! :)

Preppy January Favorites 2014

I just wanted to share some of my favorite things I've been using a lot this month! I can't believe the month is almost over! I'm so excited to see what 2014 holds! I have high hopes for this year! :)

I've been loving this Vineyard Vines sweater I got for Christmas! 

I love the Lucky Charms sets of plates, cups, coasters, napkins, tray, and pitcher my Mother was sweet enough to get my for my dorm! I had the plates, tray, and pitcher since the fall but the rest she got me for Christmas! I've just recently started using my tray for more than food or parties! I've been using it on my desk because it's so cute and really brightens up the boring wooden college desk! 

This Lilly Loves Green reusable bag is great for groceries! 

The first impression iPhone 5 case is just so pretty! First Impression is one of my favorite prints! 

I've been wearing my gold Moon and Lola monogram necklace so much since Christmas!
